A cool treat for the summer

Well hello Texas summer, how you have all of a sudden appeared. 100 degree days are now upon us… so what do we want? To cool off of course! I have a perfect (and easy) recipe to help with this:

Frozen Lemonade Pie
(let the photo montage begin)

ingrediants
You will need: A can of frozen lemonade, cool whip, small can of sweetened condensed milk, and a pre-made graham cracker crust
scm
Pour the whole can of sweetened condensed milk into a mixing bowl
lemonade
Next add about half of a can of frozen lemonade concentrate to the mix (make sure it has been sitting out long enough to not be completely frozen anymore). Here I am using Raspberry Lemonade. I have had this pie with regular lemonade and even limeade. Use what you would like!
mix
Grab a mixer and mix the two ingredients up!
stir
Next grab your cool whip (which should also be relatively soft), and stir it into the mixture.
mixedup
Here is everything combined. You may be tempted to grab a spoon and taste test it…do it. It is amazing 🙂
pour
Pour the mixture into the pre-made crust.
freeze
Cover the pie, and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
juice
Remember the half of a can of frozen lemonade that you didn’t use? Go ahead and mix it according the can (halving the amount of water of course), and make yourself a nice glass of lemonade.
The final result?
slice
Grab a fork and try it for yourself! I guarantee this to cool you down on those 100 degree days!
Enjoy my friends!
